History
Originally born into the U tribe of the vast desert she found herself more than a little enthralled by the magic and weapons of the Lizard Beastmen that harassed and enslaved her people. During a trial to become a full fledged Ranger of her tribe, she was captured and taken to be ether enthralled as a tempered slave or sacrificed to the Lord of the Inferno.Tally managed to convince one of her captors that she was, in fact, a "willing" servant of their God and happily take her place among their ranks. Avoiding becoming a blood sacrifice, Tally used the time she bought to try and find an escape but to no avail. Soon the time came for her to be tempered by Ifrit, a process done by a crude crystal idol in his image, allowing the primal to speak to and claim his slaves. Something curious happened at the moment of what should have been her sad end. Rather than temper her outright, the Primal spoke to her and explained that he wanted more than a slave, but a priestess to walk among the lands and extol his might and divinity. He explained wanting to recruit willing souls rather than simply take them for a time. If this was done at a whim of the hellish beast or simply as an amusing game, we will likely never know the Eikon's reasons for staying his hand.Left with no real choice, she accepted her place as a faithful tempered servant of Ifrit - an emissary and priestess to gain loyal followers and hunt items of power to strengthen his dominion. She awoke to find her eyes changed to a fiery, tempered color which would have been striking enough if it weren't for the pair of horns she now bore, crowning her conditional freedom in her new role. While she found the horns concealable enough with the shamanistic magicks learned from the Lizardmen, they would always be there, forever marking her as a cursed soul.After weeks of additional...indoctrination by the Beastmen, Tally was finally unleashed on the world to spread the worship of Ifrit to any would-be follower. Knowing she could never return home, she instead took up adventuring in the hopes of uncovering a way to reverse her curse and truly free herself of her duties. While today she's prone less and less to submit to her God's fiery will and demands, she plagued by dreams of worshiping at the feet of her Primal along with the harem of slaves and hordes of warriors she'd recruited to the cause - all while the world burns.Her corruption continues day by day and now she's obsessed with tomb raiding and relic dealing. Partly because her lord demands trinkets, but now more than ever because she looks to find an end to her curse. She will discover the path to her freedom or earn enough Gil to buy the greatest mages and scholars in the land to help her do it. But is this all a part of Ifrit's plan...?
